Our Mission

To help women better understand what their bodies need, act earlier, and make informed health decisions through reliable personal testing and personalized guidance over time.

About Women Led Health

Women Led Health exists to help women move beyond isolated ‘normal’ ranges and fragmented advice toward a more personalized, data-informed understanding of their health. We believe better health starts with better information—and that women’s health information is a systems problem worth fixing.

The problem is structural: health information can be fragmented across records, appointments, and life stages. Reference ranges provide useful population and assay context, but they do not, by themselves, describe one woman’s personal history, individual pattern, life stage, or change over time. Postpartum recovery deserves a longer, more connected view.

Women Led Health treats this as an information and systems-design problem. The research-oriented concept may bring personal insight, longitudinal tracking, bloodwork, nutrition and micronutrient context, and pattern recognition into one structured view.

The goal is not to replace clinical care or define a universal ‘optimal’ result. It is to make information easier to understand over time and support better-informed conversations with qualified clinicians.

What we believe in

  • 01

“Common” is not necessarily “normal”, “optimal” or “healthy”

  • 02

Women need a usable framework, not more disconnected information

  • 03

Health is a continuous process. Earlier and better-timed information may help women notice changes and seek appropriate care sooner

  • 04

Pregnancy is the first prolonged and demanding stress test on a healthy body. Fully understanding and supporting post-partum recovery is the foundation of women’s health

Vision

A future in which women’s health is informed by continuous, life-stage-specific evidence, closing research gaps and enabling more precise, preventive, and individualized care.

Founder

Ludmila Astahova

Women Led Health grew from years of independent study and Ludmila Astahova’s belief that women deserve clearer, more connected information about their health.

Ludmila brings a background in global financial services and an Ivy League MBA to the problem of fragmented women’s health information. Her work has centered on data systems, pattern recognition, and building frameworks that turn noise into signal.

Motherhood made the gap personal. Health information often sits across disconnected records, broad population ranges, and brief snapshots. Ludmila founded Women Led Health to explore a clearer, more longitudinal way to organize that information—beginning with postpartum recovery.
